Modern communication technology has fundamentally changed the
corporate environment. Team members working together on a
joint project no longer need to be based at the same location.
At the same time, businesses concentrate on their core
competencies and outsource all other activities to third party
providers. As a result, members of project teams not only find
themselves at geographically different locations, but also
belong to separate and independent organizations. In many
companies, the virtual team has completely replaced the
traditional team.
This opens a wealth of opportunities. At the same time,
leading virtual teams and virtual project management, but also
presents major challenges for the members and leaders of

During fifteen years of leading global virtual teams in
different companies, the trainer has experienced first-hand
the many opportunities as well as the various challenges
associated withpresented by the virtual business environment,
with virtual project management and with leading virtual teams.
Based on this experience, she enhances the training content
with many practical examples and recommendations for immediate
daily practice.
